One of the biggest challenges with Online Marketing is operating a successful PPC campaign. Competition is fierce and the costs to advertise at Google are steadily climbing.

In this article we are going to examine several of the factors that you should look at when deciding whether or not to outsource your search engine campaign.

1. Search Marketing Expertise

(It should be stated that you are|Obviously you are an expert in your industry. You are growing your company based on your knowledge and skills and have achieved a certain level of success. That, however, does not make you an knowledgeable at search marketing. While you may know your business inside and out, the marketing strategies required to successfully promote on Google are a totally different issue.

Search engine marketing/PPC is a very specialized form of advertising. Strategies that worked just last year are no longer effective. For years, we’ve run campaigns with vast amounts of keywords. All the way back in 2001, we developed campaigns with up to one million keywords. No one had heard of “long-tail keywords” and no one was developing extensive keyword lists. Today, the industry has changed. Many people have built tremendously extensive campaigns to the point that long-tail strategies had to change.

The search engines no longer allow you to bid on every keyword you can imagine. Today, you need a strategy that casts a net that is surgically targeted to specific services, products and audiences. Unless you know what to do to develop these keyword lists, you will most likely place yourself on the most expensive, high traffic, low converting keywords that are out there. To be able to research and locate the right keywords at the right cost is a critical skill in developing a profitable campaign.

3. Tracking Capabilities

Prior to search, companies used newspaper, print, radio and TV ads that were hard to track. The Internet changed all that, making most actions highly accountable. To be successful today in search you have to implement a system to track all actions; otherwise, how will you know what worked? Even if you are tracking, what will you do with that data?

4. Optimization Algorithms

Optimization systems / search optimization algorithms are the automated systems that analyze the data you capture, review the actual success on the particular keywords, and make determinations as to which keywords should be bid higher, lower or eliminated completely. This needs to be an automated task to analyze the amount of search phrases required to maximize the results of your search campaign.

With the ecoomy in flux, many people are looking for an easy way to make extra cash using their home computers, figuring out how to make money online in one way or another. Here’s one simple service you can use, where you can write as much as you like on topics you love, and then cash in by earning revenue from visitors who come to your site. The service is called HubPages.

HubPages is a community of people who write informative or entertaining sites, called “hubs”. With each Hub you create, you insert quality writing, top links, relevant video and whatever information you choose about your topic. You don’t even need to be a really good writer to succeed on HubPages; it’s a supportive, fun community of writers and just generally people who have something fun to share.

So how do you make money with HubPages? You have several different ways. First, your Hubs show ads which your visitors will click on, earning you revenue each time. Finally, another way to earn with a Hub is by selling your own product. Whether you’ve written an ebook, or have hard goods to sell, you can use Hubs as a sales page, put a link to your sales site, or otherwise promote our products and services. Your Hub must still be informative - it can’t just be a big ad for your wares. But if you’re providing authoritative information, and happen to link to your sales page as well, you are able to sell your own items just as easily as you earn from Amazon or eBay.

The icing on the cake is that HubPages is free! HubPages has zero cost to join or keep your Hubs. Create just one Hub or even hundreds - it’s all up to you! You’ll start to earn income from multiple sources. Remember that it will still take patience and hard work to succeed and build your Hubs. Often erroneously referred to as the “double Windsor” due to the existence of the half Windsor knot, the Windsor is the most traditional knot, and probably the one you first learned to make. This type of knot is all-purpose, and is appropriate for business meetings, interviews and anywhere else you need to look respectable.

1- Place the tie around your neck with the skinny end hanging on one shoulder and the thicker end on the other shoulder. Of course, make sure the label of your tie is facing your shirt and not the outside world.

2- Adjust the length of the skinny end by making it longer or shorter, depending on the size of your neck. Generally, if you have a large neck, you’ll need the skinny end to initially hang longer on your shoulder than the thicker end on the opposite shoulder. If you have a small neck, the lengths of the thin and fat ends will be about equal around your neck prior to making your knot.

3- Cross the fat portion over the skinny end to make an X fairly close to your neck (around about the second button on your dress shirt).

4- Fold the larger end around the smaller end; loop the fat end through the neck and pull the two ends slightly apart so that the larger end is on one side of your body and the thinner end is on the other. Consider your work so far to be the first “knot.”

5- Take the bigger end of the tie and fold it behind your first “knot,” then loop the larger end toward you through the noose of the neck to form a second “knot,” and pull this one tight. At this point, you should be able to see the label on the larger end of your tie (in other words, it should not be facing your shirt).

The three other knots every fashionable man must master

6- To complete the final knot, fold the larger end around the two other “knots” you created previously (thus covering them both up) and loop it through the noose again.

7- Lastly, stuff the larger end through the now single knot and tighten your tie carefully. Voila!
