8 Great Ways to Jump Start Your Business Using WEB 2.0 Techniques.

Here’s a quick list of WEB 2.0 Techniques you should use if you want to increase your web presence.

1. Get a self hosted blog - What this means is a blog that you host on your domain, for example www.yourcompanyname.com. Not some other service like www.yourdomainname.soemothersrevice.com/blog.

2. Commit yourself to write posted articles at least every other day for three weeks.

3. Every time you post an article, make sure you submit them to the different blog directories. My top three are: Pingoat, Ping-o-matic, and Feed Shark.

4. Find social networking groups that could be considered potential customers and participate in the groups every time you write a post include your name, company name and website in the post. This will also help to create back links to your blog. If you are unsure how to do this, check out my two part article Creating Your First Social Network Post.

5. Find social book marking sites and review sites. Submit your posted articles to these sites. Make sure that you also post some of your favorite sites as well or you will be seen as a spammer. My favorite one is reddit.

6. Create a buzz group. A Buzz group is where all the members help each other on the different social sites as far as reviews, book marking and writing comments on each other’s blogs. More on the buzz group later.

7. After you have created about 14 posts, start using sumbit’em now as a site where you submit your posted articles.

8. Find other blog directories by typing in blog directories in Google. Submit your site to as many of these as you can.

This will get any company going as far as growing their web presence in the search engines and other blog directories. There are a lot of details to be considered for some of the above items, if you have questions, by all means ask them.

We welcome any and all comments so let’s here what you have to say.
